I've become a Roxas/Kairi fan. So sue me.
Roxas goes to confront Kairi about his feelings, finds that he can't express it in words, so he goes in for a kiss. After the fact, they notice that they have an audience... From bottom up: Axel, Mala, and Olette. Axel, being Roxas's best friend and "big brother" figure, had to see how things were turning out. Olette, being one of Kairi's best friends in the House Painted Urple, wanted to check things out because of the feminine instinct to want to know everything about every couple. Mala, being the Author of the House Painted Urple, wanted to know what was going on under her roof. (...and because she thought the whole confession scene would be rather cute, and all.) .... *cough* I'm rather proud of this piece. Last night, I stayed up (despite threats from my father) to sketch out what Roxas and Kairi's hair looked like from front, back, and both sides. And that's why their hair rocks. XDXD Lessee... Kairi's eye gave me hell... Olette's hair gave me hell, too, even though she's just a chibi in the corner -- I did it without reference, so that's why it doesn't entirely look like her at all. o_O; Mebbe it'll look more like her once I get this thing colored. (And h'omfg! Look at that! FOLDS!!!) "If Someone Like You" is the title of a song from the "Jekyll & Hyde" musical that my school's theater department is doing for our spring production, and as I'm in pit, I got a CD with a bunch of the songs on it. <3~ I listened to "If Someone Like You" on loop while finishing this baby up... "I peer through windows... Watch life go by... Dream of tomorrow... And wonder 'why'? The past is holding me, Keeping life at bay... I wander lost in yesterday... Wanting to fly -- but scared to try... But if someone like you Found someone like me, Then suddenly Nothing would ever be the same My heart would take wing, And I'd feel so alive -- If someone like you Found me..." |

The necks are much better. There. I said it. So is the fact that Kairi has a noticable chest (because I remember when all your girls were androgynous, and it drove me NUTS). My favourite bit is the little chibi-ation in the corner there. xD
